CONDITION REPORT
Omega first introduced their Ref. 2846/2848 in 1956 in the international collection, this watch takes the attention due to the lovely gold capped steel casing with its beefy lugs. The serial number of the this watch dates it back to 1956 which makes it one of the first ones of this particular reference. The dial is the true masterpiece of this watch, first of all it gilt (black and gold), secondly it has a crosshair dial and at last it also has the most amazing patina which makes it look like a starry night. The watch houses a cal 501 automatic movement. The gold capped stainless steel lugs are still in very good shape. The crown is the original clover one. It has been serviced by our watchmaker and checked for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
