Rolex Datejust 1601 blue sigma dial

CONDITION REPORT
Rolex created the flagship Datejust in 1945, in celebration of the brands 40th Anniversary. The Datejust is just the perfect everyday watch. This particular reference 1601 with its white gold fluted bezel dates back to 1973.  The amazing blue ‘sigma’ dial gives a clean look to it, ‘sigma’ means that the markers and hands are white gold as well. You’ll see in the detailed pictures that there is some discoloration arround the pie pand track and markers but this is the case in 99% of the original blue Rolex dials from the 70’s, actually shows it is no service dial ;).The lume dots are the original Tritium ones and match well with the original tritium in the hands. The watch houses a cal 1575 automatic movement, which has been fully serviced. The stainless steel casing is still in good condition. The watch has its original Rolex signed crown. The watch comes on an original Rolex Jubilee bracelet, this gives the watch the ultimate look. It has been checked by our watchmaker for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
