Rolex Datejust 1603 blue sigma dial

Rolex created the flagship Datejust in 1945, in celebration of the brands 40th Anniversary. The Datejust is just the perfect everyday watch. This particular reference 1603 with its steel engine turned bezel dates back to 1975. The blue ‘sigma’ dial gives a clean look to it, ‘sigma’ means that the markers are white gold. The lume dots are the original Tritium ones and due to age have turned in a lovely orange colour. The watch houses a cal 1570 automatic movement, which has been fully serviced. The stainless steel casing has been polished slightly polished before sale but is incredibly crisp condition. The watch has its original Rolex signed crown. It has been checked by our watchmaker for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
