The ultimate Rolex doesn’t exi… Wait a minute, how about a white gold Rolex Day Date from the 70’s. This particular reference 1807, dating back to 1972, is something you don’t see every day. It has an 18k white gold casing with a white gold bark finished bezel, this finishing technique is done by hand ! The case still has thick lugs and is in good conditon considering it is 50 years old. It has a cool sunburst silver pie pan dial. The lume dots are the original Tritium ones and match the colour of the hands. It houses a cal 1556 automatic movement, which has been fully serviced. The watch has its original Rolex signed crown. The watch is fitted on a white gold ref 8723 Rolex president bracelet wich has the correct matching bark finish in the center links, its fits up to 18cm. Serial number is hard to read but still visible showing a 3177XXX dating it back to 1972. The reference number between the lugs isn’t visible due to wear on a leather strap, under a loupe you can determine a 7. It has been checked by our watchmaker for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
